ENTERTAINMENT! Whether looking for traditional German tunes like The Beer Barrel Polka/Rosamunde, Happy Wanderer, Edelweiss, and the kids' favorite -- The Chicken Dance -- or Pop and Rock classics like 99 Luftballons, Don't Stop Believin', and Sweet Caroline, Festmeister Hans und Die Sauerkrauts have a huge library of over six hours of material, including a selection of must-have holiday favorites. (Ask about our Christmas and St. Patrick’s Day shows!) We are also open to taking special requests to make your event the best it can be! Festmeister Hans hosted California’s biggest Oktoberfest at Alpine Village for 10 years and is the great-great-great-great-great-grandson of Sgt. Wilhelm Baumgaertner, one of the original creators of the 1810 Munich Oktoberfest. Hans has a wealth of experience bringing the Gemuetlichkeit ("togetherness") with his comedic antics, as he sings in German/English, hosts games, and pumps up the audience. Whether a small private corporate event or a huge tent filled with thousands, Festmeister Hans knows how to get the party started! OOMPA! Die Sauerkrauts -- LA's Premier Polka Party Band -- perform their zany mix of authentic, traditional and "oompafied" modern tunes entertaining thousands at private and public venues throughout Los Angeles and beyond since 2016.
